How To Get Started Using WordPress
Now you are probably thinking. How do I get WordPress and how much does it cost.
Well first of all, WordPress platform is 100% free. No catches, no gimmicks it is as free as the air you breathe.
All you will need to purchase is a hosting account (a place in cyberspace where your website will “live”) and you can get that for as low a $3.96 per month at Hostgator (affiliate link) which is one of the web hosting providers I use.
You will also need a domain name, which will become a URL (or an internet address) of your blog. To register a “.com” domain name will only cost you only about $10.00 or under per year. All my domains are registered with Netfirms (affiliate link).
If you are thinking of blogging as a business or an aid for a business, this cost is very, very small.
But, why don’t you start at the beginning!
